Deplacer.com is an online website with gay products. The website is quite detailed and has new items added. There are rare old items, wide selection and low prices making them tempting place to shop. However, this whole online store is a front for a complicated scam.
Buyers will be very tempted to shop and when doing a check on Trust Pilot buyers are pleasantly surprised by the 5 star reviews, meaning the site must be okay. However, read the 5 star reviews carefully, as they are actually all fake or customer who are still being tricked while waiting for their order (as deplacer.com do reach out to customers to ask them to change their reviews and attempt to make u feel like they will ship the order). They try to report all negative reviews on Trust Pilot as well, which again keeps their overall rating high. Trust Pilot have removed some reviews I have reported as fake but for some reason they have not removed them all yet. I was upset to find today they have used an image for their review of someone who passed away earlier in the year from tragic circumstances, which is distasteful to his family to use his image for a fake review.
The overall process of their con is - customer makes order, if the order is large enough eventually they may ship some random products to make the customer feel at ease that eventually the order will arrive, then they will claim all kinds of issues which sound reasonable but they are just meant to delay you, as eventually the money you have paid will be unable to be recovered. Once they are confident that it will be hard for you to recover the money they will never respond to you again. Obviously they do not accept paypal as a payment method, as too easy for customers to get their money back due to them never posting the actual items ordered.
The random items they shipped they used the address below. The contact details on their website are not proper addresses (google each address and phone number and you will see what I mean). Germaker Group 3OG Kurfurstendamm 195 10707 Berlin
My advice... I hope this review helps people understand that you cannot trust the Trust Pilot reviews for this website and do not place an order. If you already have an order placed raise a chargeback with your credit card company immediately. It is unacceptable that the website cannot provide a phone number or a real tracking number. It really upsets me to think of all of the people they have mislead (the 1 star reviews that still exist on Trust Pilot).
