We were attempting to purchase a 2008 food trailer. The seller would not communicate via telephone. The seller would only communicate via text and email. the seller stated she recently divorced and was awarded the food trailer in the settlement. The seller said she could only communicate via text and email because her daughter was in the hospital. The seller advised us to use amazon fps to transfer funds. We received an email from what we thought was amazon with instructions on how to send money. We was to send half of the money $2775.00 to a designated amazon agent, David Friedman. After he received the money, the would contact the seller and the seller would initiate delivery of the food trailer. From the receipt of the food trailer we would have 10 days to accept or reject the purchase. We attempted to send the money, but Western Union flagged the transaction as fraud and would not release the money. We contacted amazon and was told we were probably victims of fraud. I then began to research the telephone and fax number and the fax number brought me to scamdex.
