I was watching a \"Mr. Selfridge\" episode on StreamTV when suddenly the picture was replaced by a window stating...

ATTENTION! Your browser has been blocked up for safety reasons listed below. All the actions performed on this PC are fixed. All your files are encrypted. CONDUCTED AUDO AND VIDEO.
You are accused of viewing / storage and/or dissemination of banned pornography (child pornography / zoophilia / rape etc). You have violated World Declaration on non-proliferation of child pornography. You are accused of committing the crime envisaged by Article 161 of United States of America criminal law...

There were many other \"accusations\" listed. And there was a form on the right side for green dot MoneyPak with instructions on how to pay a $300 fine (in order to avoid a jail sentence of 5-11 years, I guess), which I imagine many who are guilty of what they accuse may be hoodwinked into paying.

Since I was not doing any of the hideous things they were accusing me of, I knew that it was either a scam or the FBI trying to intimidate me. I just clicked on the BACK error and the page was gone.

I don\'t suppose they have actually BLOCKED UP anything on my computer or encrypted my files, but I wanted to report this so that it might be exposed and stopped.
Follow Ups/Extra Information. Most recent is listed first.
I was doing a report on Hawaii when a my window froze and a warning came up from "FBI" that said my browser was blocked, May 2014. Surprisingly, it was blocked and I could not turn it off or force quit. The message wanted me to pay $300 via MoneyPak vouchers using MoneyPak as the digits you need to enter with the voucher within 24 hours to get my browser back. However, since the site claimed I viewed or stored child pornography, zoophilia, rape, pirated various things, and bulk spammed I knew something was up. They had a laundry list and I never did any of these thing so I knew it was fraud. I wanted to share this info and to add to the previous report that the malware/program/virus WAS able to block my browser and I had to force restart my computer to fix things.
