the scammer said that she \"Rose\" wanted to purchase a car we had for sale as a birthday gift for her father. She stated that she was an oceanographer out on contract and requested that all communication be handled through email. She was in a hurry to get the transaction complete and asked that I assist her with getting the mover anmd pick up scheduled. She stated that she would pay the asking price as well as and additional $1,400 for the deliver fee and an additional $100 for the western union fee. Once I receive the email from Paypal that the funds had been transfered, I also received an email with the Paypal verification process, which then required me to send the Western Union $1,400 to Terry Dunn 508 East Warren St. Apt 1 Lebanon Ohio 45036 and after the proof of transfer then the money would be released into my Paypal acount.
I did not send any money and didn\'t get scammed, but almost. The emails from Paypal looked legitimate, except when Paypal sends emails they use the Members name, not email address in the heading. Also the sender\'s email address on one of the \"Paypal\" emails was annabellakbov@gmail.com

Contacted me about purchasing an auto that was posted in auto trader. States she was an oceanoghaper out on contract and would handle all transactions via email. Stated that the auto was a birthday present for her husband and that she was willing to pay the asking price as long as the transaction could be handled quickly as her husband birthday was rapidly approaching. She stated that paypal would be her method of payment. I then received info from from what seems to be a legit Paypal address stating that the funds has been deposited and that I would need to send $1800 via Western Union ICO Terry Dunn for a shipment charge before the funds could be released. Once I checked the name and address it shows this scam. I figured something was wrong in the beginning because she was wanting to move to fast and willing to pay $2000 more than the asking price without even having someone come check the auto out, just based on a few pics.
