I responded via text to an ad in local newspaper for a 30 ft travel trailer for sale. It had a picture and low price with phone number to text for more info. After requesting more info, I received text from a different phone number (555888 is what shows on text) about a 27 ft camper and my email info to send more pics. I then received email directing me to a you tube video that was a tour of the camper tagged with his name. I had already seen the exact same video earlier that day after researching that yr and model camper (filmed by an inspector). I asked where the camper was located and was told Shelbyville, KY. I was told he was a construction engineer in a very loud envoirnment and talking on phone was annoying. He did, however always have a tablet with him to respond to emails. He was leaving the next day for a new company project in the UK. His employer, Kiewit, had given him a relocation package and agreed to pay for advertising, keep camper in sealed storage, and deliver the camper to me at no cost to me. I had to make payment thru Amazon Payments which would not release the money to him until 5 days after I approved the receipt of camper. If I didn't like the camper, they would pay to pick up and refund my money. When I didn't respond, 2 days later I get a text, from a different number (859-379-8152) asking for my email address to send me some pictures he had put together. I responded that I had already sent email address and why was this a different phone number. Communications stopped.
