In the mean time I contacted him for more info on the ad. He replied and changed the story for eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection.
The car price was way under anything similar (almost half) and that made me search for more info about the so called owner. The deal breaker was after receiving pictures with the car I remembered seeing that same car on mobile.de a while ago.
