Overpayment Scam
|  +3 GOOD MORNING Uses two email addresses: brandybright101@gmail.com and brandy.bright@mail.com
Contacts charities that sell Scentsy as a fundraising tool and acts like they want to place a very large order, usually totaling $900-$1,000. Then the email below is sent telling us somehow we need to send them money, etc.

This is to let you know that your payment has been sent,and it should get to you within 5 -7 days .But there seem to be a slight error, which should not actually be a problem. I believe we should be able to handle this,anyway i was told that Instead of the actual amount of the order i ordered from you, my secretary mistakenly put your name on another check which was supposed to be for my shipper . The amount on the payment is slightly higher than the actual amount that was supposed to be sent to you.
This should not be a problem though since the payment has already been sent and it was written in your name. All i simply need you to do when you receive the Money order , is to have it cashed then deduct your own actual fee and have the remaining sent back to us .I should believe i can trust you with the rest of the funds. Also note that the excess would be sent via western union to my financial manager as soon as the cash is available.Do let me know once you receive the Money order, and also when the orders are available so i can make pick up arrangements.

Scammer posted a generic job application, then when i replied sent the following email
