Offered to buy item Wanted to correspondend through email This was the message: I am away at sea at the moment,i work in a refinery company in New Zealand but i live in Australia, we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kapo project. We do not have access to the phone at the moment, it's 5days off and 25days on,which is why I contacted you with an internet messaging facility. Where is it located at the moment? I am buying it for my new apartment, I won't be able to come for the inspection due to the nature of my work and I would have called but our calling is restricted. Regarding the payment,pls get back to me with your final asking price and your paypal details so i can process the payment,you can alternatively send your bsb and acct number if you have no paypal acct.I have also contacted my courier who will come for pick up after the whole fund has been cleared into your acct. Then asked that she send the fee for freight to me and I pay the courier. It all sounded dodgy but when I queried why it was $1050 for the courier and she wrote this in reply: "the reason why the amount is a bit high is that the pick up agent will also be picking up some furntures from my late husband apartment who die last month of Covid-19 and the house where we are living then as been sold and i need to move all our item out and they will be picking up your items also you can do bank to bank transfer so can i proceed with the payment now? " Hmmm. I don't think anyone has died from COVID 19 in Sydney recently. How deplorable to pray on people's compassion in this way. | ||||
