1996 Honda Goldwing Trike, with Trailer.
Initially posted on Craigslist, Dallas on Friday, June 14. I replied through \"reply\" facility on the ad. page. Got reply by Text on Sun., June 16, having seen a phone number was added to the posting a little later, and texted to that number. The request in the text was for me to send my Email address, (although I had included this in my initial response), so we could \"exchange more details about the Honda Goldwing\". I provided my email address again, and received a reply on June 17, with 14 photos of the Trike and trailer, and an almost identical message as has been posted on this site, in which the seller said \"I\'m selling it because I (sic) recently got divorced and as a single woman I don\'t need it.\" I shall not quote from the text, but just state that the description of condition,(very good shape, no mechanical issues, no scratches nor (sic) dents. has only 25,672 miles, (same as previous scam). Asking price was $4,100. Having expressed interest in purchase, received an eMail on Tues., saying that \"Being on my own again after the divorce, I decided it\'s time for a change. So I moved to Omaha, Nebraska with my job. The bike is in my possession, already at the shipping company, in a cargo container, (same condition reported in the previous flag),ready to be delivered to its future owner. This was said to be done by Amazon, free delivery; I would have 5 days to \"try it out before buying it\" and Amazon would hold my money until I call and tell them to release the money to him/her. In the event I decided not to purchase, I could return it, at his/her expense. If I sent my full name, (had only used my first name in correspondence), and phone number, he/she would forward it to Amazon so they could send me more details on how this would work. At this stage, I am backing, (should I say \"running\" ?) away from this encounter.

I responded to a Raleigh craigslist ad for a Honda Odyssey. I got this response along with about 9 more pictures of a van. I wrote back that I was interested, and then googled her name. Thank god.

Listed a boat on Craigs list - in Memphis TN - 2005 bass tracker. I inquired for more details and received and email back with a number of pictures of the boat and wanted to know if I was interested.
Then the same MO as other posts as I received the following email:
Being on my own again after the divorce, I decided it's time for a change. So I moved to Omaha, Nebraska with my job. The boat is in my possession, already at the shipping company, in a cargo container, ready to be delivered to its future new owner. With Amazon, you get free delivery, the boat arriving at your place in 4 to 6 days. In addition, you get 5 days to try it out before buying it, and if you don't like it, you can send it back at my expense. I want to make it very clear, that Amazon will hold your money, and I won't be receiving a single dollar unless you call and tell them to release the money to me. If interested, e-mail me your whole name and ph#, and I will forward it to Amazon so they can send you more details on how this works.
At this point I Googled "Melissa J Beck" and came to this site.

Initially I saw this posted on Craigslist on Friday June 21. I replied to the email and exchanged a few emails with "Melissa Beck". After advising Melissa that I saw her boat posted on Craiglist Richmond, Craigslist Indiana and also on Ebay, I asked where was she located at. Below is the reply I received:

I actually ended up calling the cell number and spoke with a female who stated she was Melissa and would give my info to Amazon and I would receive the details soon. At this point things really started to feel like a scam and now after seeing this other report I am certain this is some sort of scam.
