I responded with final price. I later got an email say Inge they would offer me $100 more than my bottom price. They asked me to email them with my Paypal email so they could wire me money. And to give them my address so they could schedule a pic up of the item. |

Posted car for sale, received email message from Sydney Brons, wanting final offer. He said he would pay, as I have noticed in other emails, $100 over asking price. Then emails regarding shipping and Western Union appeared as well as transactions via Paypal. I got suspicious when they would not give me a physical address to put on the bill of sale, or a name of actual shipping company to send western union to.
My son, whose car is for sale, told m to see if this Sydney Bron had a Facebook account, NOPE. Then we did a Google search and found this "scamdex.com" and there was his name and similar activities being reported.
I called Paypal directly and just emailed them ALL email messages from Sydney Bron and the "FAKE" Paypal company.
He claims to be a Merchant Mariner stationed out of Hawaii; his delivery agent is at 29 Palms, CA.
Scam Emailsydneybrons18@gmail.com...be suspicious when asking to send money via western union and if anything seems out of place about the Paypal email, contact Paypal\'s fraud department immediately @ 888-221-1161 or email them at spoof@paypal.com

Posted an item hollomanyardsales.com (bookoo)(http://www.hollomanyardsales.com). Received a text asking what I was willing to take. I replied with "what did you have in mind....I already priced it low to begin with". Received another text asking my bottom price. I replied with a price, then received a text offering me $50 more than my bottom price. Thought it was odd that they didn't want to ask anything about it or see it in person. I looked up the email address and found this site with similar occurrences.

I posted for an item on Booko yard sales and a few days later this guy offered me $50.00 more than my asking price as well as my address to pick the item up, wanted more pictures to see it, and wanted my paypal address so they can send me the item. I thought it was a scam till I googled his email address and found this site. I now really believe it was a scam.
Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
