The caller talked very fast and seemed quite convincing saying that they were FBI Houston Field Office sting operation and that I had agreed to a sexual encounter without asking for the age - even though he originally said he was in his mid 20's. He first said $500 would prevent me from going to jail and dealing with the courts; h said he woul destroy the recorded phone conversation. When I said I din't have that much money, he lowered it to $250. When I said that my debit card was depleted to almost $0, he agreed to add $14 to the charge and that the funds would be withdrawn as soon as they were there. He kept me on the phone about 40 minutes and would occasionally holler to another male who seemed to be in the room asking questions like "Does Mr. X (my name) have any outstanding warrants?" I stayed calm and said I would need to speak to a lawyer. He said field agents would come and arrest me.
