| +4 Untitled Job Scam , ref:1136 I just received this email from a company called Hankins International Group.
They were offering me a possible job as an operations clerk if interested.I filled out some more info and then they responded back with a written job offer and questions about bank info for depositing my paycheck.Serious bells going off in my brain right now.
They have an interesting website at hankins-ig.com which is full of info but no real details about just who they are.
Supposedly in geneva and ny are there two main locations.
I would like to know if they are a legit company or what. I wont give them the bank info until I know more about them.
Its interesting because after I rec\'d their first email yesterday I then received an email from someone else with a very similar job info. |

I, too think this is a bogus company. I only read the initial email. That was enough for me. Had I responded i am sure that i would have the same result as most of you. I have copied and pasted the entire email i received. BE CAREFUL! The following is the email beginning with Jennifer Green.

I also received an employment offer from Hankins International Group - Gevena from a Ms. Helen G. Mayfield. After reading your notes here on Scamdex and talking with the wire expert at my local credit union, I stopped myself from sending any personal information. It sure sounds like a scam from my perspective here in Northwest Indiana. Let's get them.

I got an email from Hankins International Group offering a potential job. I sent an email saying I was interested. I get a lot of job inquires as I am posted on online job hunting sites. I got a job response from Robert Hipkis from a group Pariole LLC. Pariole has an address in Madrid Spain. A reverse phone look up of a US number showed an address in Los Angeles. Sent in the application and was, on the same day sent a job offer, a contract and a form to give them my bank account numbers. No company I have delt with would do this. Pariole has a very nice web site but it does not appear to be connected to a search engine. Nothing I could find would indicate they are anything but a shell.
