On the day I posted an item for sale on gumtree I received a text from this person saying she was interested in the item. I tried to SMS her back and noticed the SMS failed, in the same SMS they sent their email which was nsamarsarno@gmail and asked me to email them. She said she wanted the ring and that she would pay for the item only if I had paypal set up. I set paypal up and let her know, she then asked me that she would sent me extra money to ship the product overseas to china for her daughter via priority international express post. She asked me to generate an invoice, for the amount plus an extra 200.00 on top. (to good to be true right) so I did that, however lucky enough I didn\'t have any details on the invoice apart for an email address and phone number. I told my husband about this and he said that\'s it sounded to good to be true. Thankfully my husband is switched on and did some research at work called me back and told me about it. I contacted paypal and let them know what happened. The invoice was cancelled ASAP & this gmail account was reported to paypal.
Please note I just started on gumtree it was my first time on it, these guys prey on people that are new to this so please be mindful when you open an account and something sounds to good to be true.
