Larry contacted me asking if I was really single and that he liked my facebook profile. Wanted to get to know more about me. Sent several messages about himself and his mother, Lisa and his daughter, Helen. I received several pictures of a very nice looking man. He said he was Italian born in Dublin, Ireland but his accent is more Muslim.
Said he had been chosen by Petronas out of 16 other contractors to do a gas station in Malaysia. I received a copy of his flight itinerary and a copy of his passport page showing his picture, name, DOB, place of birth which all matched the information he had sent me. Looked really authentic.
Then he calls and says there is a problem, the government had taxed him $18,500.00 for his company to do the job. He said he gave them $10,000.00 which was all he had and needed this $8,500.00 before they would let him work. He promised to pay it back as the contract was for $1,200,000.
I told him to call his pastor back in Texas. If he was a good standing member there, the church would help him! He refused to embarras himself and tried to make me feel bad about it.
First, if this was true then why not make a deal with the government using the contract?
Second, he changed this story and said the company wanted the money up-front - wrong!!!
How dumb does he think an American woman is?
