This guy advertised a White and Skye blue Golf Velocity 1.6i on Gumtree for as low as R30,000. I called the number he provides on the add: 078 312 3661 i did not get an answer so i then sent an email via Gumtree to reach the seller. One week later i received an sms from this number saying that the car is still available and to please get in contact with him should i still be interested. I then called and spoke to Wesley. He said that the car is still available because the person who had paid a dep to have the car reserved for him until month end as he will then only pay the balance of the outstanding, never came to light and they had to reimburse the deposit he paid(Ya right!). I knew it was a scam and continued to play along and made as if i was interested, so he gave me all the options of when taking over installments (R3000 dep) + Delivery fees R890 because they are in Colesburg so they have to deliver and financing in house no deposit but delivery charges or otherwise cash. He sent me an email with photos of the car (very nice immaculate condition) with a invoice to pay for delivery charges R890.

I Google Millennium Motors Colesburg and then came across this page and saw that he had been reported here before but with a slightly different name but the same surname Mbatha and different banking detail etc. Please people be wise and don\'t get caught by these ass holes!
