| Anonymous Lake Oswego, OR, United States 2013-09-10 17:20:36 Classified Ads Scam Craigslist (craiglist.com) | +1 craigslist house for rent Much Lower rent price than other comparable homes in the area. No address listed for home in the craigslist ad. When I inquired by email about the address, I was forwarded an email that had been sent to someone else first. In this email the \"landlord\" said it was not about the money, he just wanted someone in the house who would take care of it. The security deposit listed was also very low -- not even the amount of one months rent. An address was given. Drove by the house. It appears empty. Second email from Mr. Cardenas said if we filled out and returned the attached rental application he would send pictures of the inside of the house. Checked with county real property records and the property is not titled to this Mr. Cardenas. His email said he\'s renting it because he took a job in California. Under his name he lists \"PQS Prehistoric Archaeology - PI, Caltrans District 1 Mission Hills, CA.\" When I put that in Google Search (because I was going to call his employer to make sure he was legit), this site (Scamdex) came up because someone else had used that exact same \"title\" in another similar scam. |

They offer the house at reasonable rate which included utilities, plus the deposit was less than rent plus they had to have application filled out and sent back to them via email. NO WAY....Plus they would send pictures of home inside and out. What a Scam, in this case if it is too good to be true, than it is a SCAM!!!!

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
