30/09/2013 Created an ad on Gumtree to sell my wifes car. Received a text from mobile number 61428465117 with the following message:Sent from: helvis I'm interested in your gumtree ad, how much are you willing to sell it.email me at (helvisdatford@gmail.com) the firm price & condition.No reference about what I was selling. As it was within 15 minuted of posting the ad I was quite suspicious.
Searched this name on the net and it appears it is a well known scammer. In fact the above message is identical (apart from the vehicle being sold) to a report here on 22/09/2013.
I suspect that this may not actually be sent from an OZmobile given that Helvis also operates in UK but maybe from SKype or similar program which can use proxy numbers
