Selling a car and claiming to leave for Afghanistan in 3 weeks. Advertised the car as being in Queensland and when answering a response to the ad , claiming both him and car are in WA.

Have Hyundai 2007 for $3000 then when you emsil him has he still got the car, he replys and knocks it back to $2600 straight awayk, he also makes out he works for the defence force and he is leaving to go to Afganistan and is in WA defence base needs to sell quick and will ship the car over for free and can keep the car for 10 adys if not satisfied will ship back to Wa for nothing and advises you to go with eguidesolution.com to pay him saftley trust me this is a SCAM BEWARE

Name Richard James wilson from west Australia selling a year 2000 subaru forester. Goes by the name James. All the txt quotes are the same as previous person he tried to scam.

I almost got scammed by this person too! Found an ad on carsguide.com.au for a 2005 Kia Rio, proceeded to email the owner and recieved the following replies...

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I work for the Department of Defence and I was transferred to a new military base in WA. I am providing Pre-Afghanistan Deployment Training (Desert Training). If you are still interested in buying my car, I’m asking $3200 (I’ve lowered the price because I’m running out of time). The car is road worthy. Rego until 05/2014. It has a clear title, very well maintained, always garage kept, excellent condition, runs and sounds 100% perfect with no leaks or noises. Engine starts right up, sounds great and there are no strange noises. No hail damage. I have to sell the car as fast as I can because in three weeks I will be deployed to Afghanistan and I’ll stay there for a while. I intend to buy a new one when I get back home. I also need to know if you have the cash to buy the car, because there are a lot of interested buyers. He also sent me 'his' Department of Defence ID card, which looked fake, the printed name didn't even match the signature!
