Overpayment Scam
Kijiji.com |  +1 Used car scam - Kijiji Was selling a used car on Kijiji. Got a reply via text message ~12hrs after posting, asking me to email at the address above and saying they would offer $700 above my $3500 asking price. Since that\'s 20% (!!!) it seemed fishy, did some googling and the exact email text I\'ve entered here pops up in dozens of other results. Went by the name of Jeff Doyle - I also got suspicious due to unfamiliar (Florida) area code - I\'m in Alberta, Canada. The profile picture for that gmail account also looked suspiciously like a stock photograph of a smiling African-American man. Don\'t fall for this! |

Looks like Mr. Jeff Doyle has lots of $700 bills he's trying to get rid of.
