It looks like I\'m the 10th woman in just the past 2 months to report receiving a suspicious Facebook email from someone named Larry Bettino, who claims to be a Civil Engineer working in Austin and says he\'s a widower with a daughter. The email I received is nearly word for word identical to the ones received by the other women who have filed reports here. Not only is he a scammer... he\'s an idiot too, not even bothering to change his \"name\" and supposed \"personal information\" so that we can\'t locate him on a painfully simple Google search. His facts are all the same too, I appeared on the right page \"do you know these people\" and he was immediately attracted, blah blah blah. I\'ve reported him to Facebook as a scammer and blocked him from further contact. What a sleaze. |
