I received this e-mail March 12 and believing it in earnest, I replied, refusing the sender's request. I then got an e-mail from "Keshet Ltd" to which I replied, also refusing their request. Today I got another email from Abby Wang; I have responded with refusal. Then went on Facebook for help from friends, who advised me it was a scam. I have now flagged these contacts as spam in my e-mail service, and deleted all references/e-mails/information. I have confirmed my legitimate domain name and account records and all are up to date and registered to me. I am now reporting this to you. Take note that "Jim Wang" is now "Abby Wang" -- but otherwise it appears to be a variation on a theme.
Thank you for your service!
Scam EmailDear Manager,
(If you are not the person who is in charge of this, please forward this to your CEO,Thanks)
This email is from China domain name registration center, which mainly deal with the domain name registration in China. We received an application from Keshet Ltd on Marcy 10th, 2014. They want to register \"margaretblank\" as their internet keyword and China/Asia (CN/ASIA) domain names. But after checking it, we find this name conflicts with your company. In order to deal with this matter better, so we send you email and confirm whether this company is your distributor or business partner in China or not?.
Best Regards,
Abby Wang

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
