Would prefer to talk via email as he is at work.
Received multiple messages trying to negotiate, after I replied to the first message where he offered $7,500 for my bike, I got another message from him offering more which lead me to google his phone number. |

First he text me asking if my Bike is still available, if its been dropped, my best price, said he is ready to buy & wanted me to email him close up pics. (Which i had already on my add) along with all the other info. Then insisted on emails as he was at work and couldn't text/call. He also offered more than i was asking!
ALAN GRAY EMAILED ME:
I'm ready to pay $2,500 for the bike, I work in NZ but i'm moving back home and I need the bike once i'm back to Darwin hence me reason for buying. I want you to give me your assurance that the bike has not been in any crash, everything runs well though you need to understand that i do not have anyone to view the bike for me.
So i ask you take the ad off gumtree because i'm ready to make payment for the bike if you send me your bank details.
Thanks,
Alan.
I then offered him to pay via Paypal. He still insist i give him my Bank Details. What a wanker!
Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
