I first recieved an email from pappycolly71@gmail.com (name came across as Pappy Colly71) asking if a bed I listed on ksl.com was still available for sale. I replied that it is still available. I got a second email from pappycolly9@gmail.com (name came across as Pappy Colly9) with the following message:

Okay thanks for the response,would you accept a bank certified check
as payment then after
it clears your Bank,I will have my mover to come over for the pick up?
because presently am
on a Tour ,If you are OK,I\'ll need you to provide me with the
following information below
to facilitate the mailing of the check to you.
(1)name to be on the payment. .(2)home or office address. .(3)final
Price..(4)Phone Number.

This reply didn\'t seem right me. Most people as for pictures, general questions about condition, how much insterest is there, and how firm I might be on price. This person was speaking to me as if we had already closed the deal. The grammer and overall feel of the message they sent is wrong. Needless to say, I will not be replying or providing them with any additional information.

Message was in response to a classified ad on KSL classifieds for a pair of boots listed for $200.00 The message did not use proper / common / every day English.
"Is the Marine Boots still available for sale? kindly get back via email: pappycolly6@gmail.com ASAP."
"Kindly" is not a term used by every day americans. They also did not call about the add, and insisted that I respond via email.
I always search out the phone numbers and email addresses of people responding to classified adds before responding back to them. Didn't sound legit, and then found other references to this individual responding to classified adds - in a similar fashion.
