Nigeria shipping and payment pending from Bank of America

Good day All.

Selling products online and receiving a response from someone situated any where in the world requesting the products to be shipped to Nigeria...PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

They will go through the whole sale and then when the proof of payment comes through, it is in a mail format and they are paying in USD. The mail you will receive as payment confirmation will state Bank of America, however the email address domain will be either consultants.com of accountant.com. The mail format and grammer on this mail is horrible and there are font differences, colours which you can only imagine an toddler to use. The main discription in the mail would state something like the amount of $800 has been deducted from their clients account and give your the clients banking details as well as yours and then the TRICK, the payment is pending transfer to your account. You need to send the \"bank\" the shipment details and then they will transfer the money into your account. Bank of America does not have this type of policy, they transfer money at your request, there is nothing as described in their policy. Also on this mail there would be buttons to go to the website of the bank etc. however these buttons/links are not active. Bank notifications don\'t come in this format.

Please be careful, I had 2 of these on the same day and caught both of them in an instance, different email addresses from where the notification was sent, and the info and pictures etc on the mails differed, but the main content or TRICK was the same, ship and then transfer.

If the money is transferred and in your account, bank or paypal you will never receive anything stating that you need to ship before the 3rd party pays the amount to your account.

Transfer Description

ABOUT THIS MESSAGE:

This payment has been approved and it is pending until you send to us the shipment details for the Item. You are to send out the item that has been paid for by our client and send the shipment details to us in other for negotiations to be commenced with your bank and finally transfer the money to your account. If the shipment details is not received, payment will not be credited into your account.

Failure to send out the item and provide the bank with the shipment details will result to a complain file to Government against you as a suspected fraud. We have come to notice that some sellers after receiving payment, they do not send out the item that where paid for, and when this happens, customers come to hold the bank responsible and not the seller.

When the shipment details are received from you, we will start the verification process. Contacts will be made to the agency that shipment was made. Some sellers provide fake shipment details. If it turns out that the shipment details are false, this automatically means the you are a scam and we will be reported to the Authorities for an immediate arrest.
