Classified Ads Scam
Paypal (paypal.com) |  +2 Interest in you Ad I have been getting similar messages from a few different emails which go along the lines of:
\"Thanks for the swift response...I am willing to offer you $1,300 for it.due to the nature of my job and location...i will not be able to come for inspection,am a very busy type as i work long hours everyday,i have gone through your advertisement and i am satisfied with it.
As for the payment..i will be paying you via the fastest and secure way to pay online(PayPal).
I have a private courier agent that will come for the pick up after the payment have been made ...so no shipping included.
You can now send me your PayPal email so i can pay in right away and also include your address in your reply.If you don\'t have a paypal account, you can easily set up one...log on to www.paypal.com.au and sign up. its very easy.I await your reply asap.\"
This is a bogus story, because I have recieved the identical message from multiple emails, all with different names. |

Another interest in the ad and paypal scam...
Thanks for the mail, am ok with the asking price as i am buying this
for Dad and i am a petroleum engineer currently on a rig offshore i
really want this to be a surprise gift for my Dad so i wont let him
know anything about the this until it gets delivered to him , i am
sure he will be more than happy with it.I can only pay with paypal
here, i will need you to give me your paypal email address so i can
make the payments asap and pls if you dont have paypal account yet,
it is very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com.au and get it set up ,
after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address you use
for registration with paypal so as to put the money through.
PS;pick up agent will come for the pick up as soon as i have made the
payments, i would have loved to talk to you on phone but i am a
petroleum engineer I work mainly offshore, our phone is down on the
rig right now due to bad weather, we can only communicate with our
base for now.

Without knowing the ad plans to buy, through an agent, and with paypal money transfer. Same message as previous scamtip.
