Nearly scammed into paying $950 into a western union account to pay for freight from nsw to Darwin for a car worth only 2800k. I sent a request for payment via paypal for $2800 and the next thing I knew $3850 appeared in the account woohoo! The catch was I needed to pay for the freight through Western Union money order to enable me to provide a Mtcn# (Money Transfer Control Number) which would ultimately clear the money in my PayPal account. Please see request sent by Paypal to me (see below)
This is to inform you that you are required to send a sum of $950.00 AUD to the address below via Western Union Money Transfer and get back to us with the relevant information's which you will be provided with after the money has been sent. You are requested to give us the Mtcn# (Money Transfer Control Number) and the Sender's Name and Address used in making the transfer after which we will then credit the total sum of $3,850.00 AUD into your PayPal account. Below is the Address where the money is to be sent using Western Union Money Transfer.

2) Thanks a lot for the email .I am away at sea at the moment,on the west aquarius submersible to be precise, we do not have access to phone at  the moment, its 15days off and 15days on,which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility. What is your last negotiable price? and where is it located at the moment?
I am buying this for my next holiday, and i want it to be delivered before my arrival in NT . However, does it have any history I should be aware of? and why are you selling if you don't mind my asking.I am already in talks with freighters that will handle the pick-up and delivery to my dad.I will really appreciate if you can email more info and if possible more photos .
As regards the payment, I can pay you through direct bank deposit, using ppal instant bank wire transfer service, I will need your bank details. If you are not comfortable with that, you can set up a paypal account proper at www.paypal.com.au and I will make the payment through paypal, this way, all I will need is your paypal email address .
