Hello,
How are you doing today? We got the information provided by you. It has come to our notice that posting Sponsored Ads on indeed.ca requires credit card which you may not have. So our firm has decided that you will receive a Certified check $1,240.00 which includes your $200.00 weekly wages to prove our sincerity to you regarding this posting job offered to you and the remaining funds will be sent to A CAPITAL ONE COMPANY district HQ where a credit card with the remaining amount will be created with your full name and address. This credit card will be used to post Sponsored Ads by you whenever we send you a directory, so you wont be having problems posting the ads for us. Note that the reason we are sending the funds to you in excess is because you have to send the remaining funds in your name for them to process the credit card for you with your information. We also want you to know that your information is safe and will be kept private and confidential at all times. The remaining funds will be sent by you via Western Union Money Transfer. Get back to us if this is OK by you so we can process the payment. Also we would like you to select a Western union location close to you so we can let the Credit card producing company know in advance the nearby location where the funds is coming from. You will have to send the name and address of the western union location you have selected to us. We await your response asap.
Warm Regards,
Tyler.
I don\'t know whether I should follow through without giving away my information to \"A CAPITAL ONE COMPANY district HQ\" just to see where I can catch them in the scam, or if I should leave it alone. I want to try and lure them in just like they\'re attempting to lure me in. I just want to do it wisely. |

This is what i received after posting on kijiji. First a text message from the phone number to email them back at their email address. At first I thought this sounded great. What made me wonder was how they wanted me to start ASAP but have only heard back 2 times and the email content was ridiculous.

I was contacted by this individual for a job working from home posting ads on indeed.com for theyre company. they said it would pay $200/week. I received an email sayng that they realized that it would cost money to post the ads and that they would send me a cheque for an amount which I was supposed to take to western union and send to a capital one credit card company to get a credit card to use with the ad posting. I gave them my info and after about a month I received a cheque from an Ontario location from someone name Suresh K, the cheque in the amount of $1200.00 was made out to me but from someone named Benjamin Angueira Aguirre in Burnaby BC. I took the cheque to my bank to cash it and the teller told me that she tried to contact the scotia bank it was issued from and that it was a fake. she then proceeded to tell me that she would call the cops on me and withheld the cheque and put a hold on my bank account, causing a scene in the bank. I quietly left. I have tried to contact "Mark" since but have not received word.
