Craigslist (craiglist.com) |  +5 Craigs List Scam His address: 440 N 200 W. Logan, UT 84321
I received the following email in response to a Craigslist ad I placed:
\"I understand the present condition as started in the advert and i\'m
okay with the asking price, i will not be able to come to look at it
due to the long distant and the easiest way for me to make the payment
is through a bank check, i\'ll wait until your bank clears the check
before we proceed with the pickup. I\'ll also take care of the pickup
and delivery when the check cleared, provide me your name, address,
city, state, zip code for me to issue the check to you and also your
phone number for me to contact you.

I was selling something on Craigslist and received an inquiry by telephone saying the same thing:
I understand the present condition as started in the advert and i'm okay with the asking price, i will not be able to come to look at it due to the long distant and the easiest way for me to make the payment is through Google Checkout checkout.google.com and I'll take care of the pickup and delivery when the payment has been made by my mover, provide me your name, address, city, state, zip code for the mover to calculate the cost of the shipment and your google checkout email account for me to make the payment.

I received the same email as shown above from the same individual listed above on a craigslist ad I had. Watch out.

I also received the same email for an ad I had on craigslist.com
