Overpayment Scam
Yahoo |  +2 Mary Kay Order Claimed she received a Look Book with my info and texted me about wanting to make a purchase. Scammer also emailed me the following:
Hello I need you to place an Order for me and also want to be your new Customer, My Boss would mail you Check for the amount of the TimeWise Repairâ„¢ Volu-Firmâ„¢ Set, the shipping fee and the tax as well since i don\'t operate CREDIT CARD and am a DEAF WOMAN. The table below illustrate my Order. The Check MUST arrive before placing my Order.

Further on, she claimed she was DEAF and that her boss mailed her whole paycheck on accident:
Update about the Volu-Firm Set that the Check is already mailed out by my Boss and you will be receiving it soon while i will also provide you the TRACKIN NBR once i have it from the Courier Svc, Ooops - sincerely writin you that there was a Big problem with it because i was just notified now that My Boss went ahead to mail the whole amount of my PAY CHECK to you mistakenly, thought i was ordering the Volu-Firm Set with the whole of my PAYCHECK, don\'t know if my money will be safe with you ??? Please help me out with this because when i heard that the whole amount of my PAY CHECK had been mail out, i was really Mad and Upset with my Boss. I want you to keep me posted for the Volu-Firm Set likewise my money and email me back as soon as you received it. Further instruction about my Volu-Firm Set and how you would help me wire the rest monies after you deduct the fee for my Volu-Firm Set will be provided as soon as i have confirmation number from the Courier Svc.

Said they wanted order product, that they were deaf, and their accountant would send a check. Then said accountant would send check. Next email was that their accountant sent amount of paycheck instead of amount of products . Asked to send difference via money gram to their cousin. Three different states for this person. Wisconsin, Texas, and Colorado. Check received was from American association for clinical chemistry from Wells Fargo. Texts occasionally with burn phones. Different number each time . Had my guard up right from the get go.

They tried delivering Friday; however, I was at work until 7:30. They only deliver during weekdays and need my signature. Which means I need to go down there after hours. I understand your predicament. As a business woman, who is also a teacher, has gone through a divorce , and has medical bills I need to be cautious and would like to take it to my credit union. I hope you understand that. I am an honest person and once it clears my bank account will do as you have asked .
