I said that as far as price went, what did they have in mind - the advert said $1,000 negotiable & also that it was a cash sale. I received a reply saying that they were working offshore for NZ Oil & Gas (off Taranaki coastline), that they had no mobile phone reception (hence couldn\'t phone me), and could I send them my bank account details, and that they would transfer the money and that a courier would come and pick the van up once I received confirmation of the payment. Luckily I figured this for a scam, alerted especially when it comes to handing over bank details and why would someone not want to view the item? |
