Contacted me about a pickup bed for sale I posted on Craigslist. Started by presenting himself as Tobby kay, an oceanographer that worked offshore, and texting was the only way of communication. I was told that I would receive a check, to cash said check, and send the remaining amount to the shippers via money gram or western union. I received the check, which was for the amount of $2480 dollars. The shipping label that came with the check was from Kane construction, from Wisconsin. The check was labeled from a credit union in Montgomery, Al. After I received the check, I did not cash it, though I said I did, and asked for the shipping company\'s address. All I got back was a name and town, Norman Hicklin, Houston Tx. Researched Kane construction, and was alerted by this site. |
