A woman contacted me named Emma at telephone number
she said her friend was in AUstralia with her husband and needed a home health aide/companion for her mother in law soon around the 19th of September when they arrive home from Sydney area.
But this woman who calls herself Laura Sankovich and claims to have a husband Frank who works for the government has asked me to send money to Chicago Illinois to a Curtis Johnson - I am to wire the balance of a check I get from her for my first week salarly (- 350.00 is my salary) to Curtis.
Mind you she is VERY insistent that the money be wired from a CVS or two other addresses around my home town of Hillside New Jersey and that I do it immediately - in other words BEFORE the check clears.
I got some text messages from her today wondering where the check was.
She stated that USPS tracking showed the check was delivered to my address yesterday.
I SHOULD START at the beginning and say that this woman found me on CARE.COM a babysitting senior citizen site for employers and employees.
Scam EmailI will tell care.com that she and \"emma\" her friend at (I am not sure of her other telephone number sorry)are doing this to people looking for work on the Care.com website.
Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
