  | Anonymous Berkeley, CA, United States 2014-04-19 16:54:59 Wills/Probate Scam |  Joan Bishop Will Scam Scammer Information There are at least 4 reasons this is likely a scam (besides the fact I\'m not the first one to report this): 1) If I were in a will, then the executor of the will would be the one to contact me, not some random hospital attendant. 2) The redirect to a different email address is suspicious, implying the first was likely spoofed. 3) The way the English is incorrect sounds like someone that isn\'t regularly exposed to American English, increasing suspicion. 4) The lack of details about anyone involved, or why Joan might leave me, a stranger, her inheritance. |
