Letter stating I was beneficiary to 4.5 million dollars from a person I do not know. He stated because he(the deceased) and I had the same last name and lived in same country that he wanted to use me as a beneficiary and it was all legal...no risk..just had to fax or e-mail him my name and address and reference # which is INNW/PONF 2014/20660 Knew it was a scam, so I googled it and sure enough his name was among many on here.. He also said to keep it private..wonder why?

Send a personalized letter stating our last name was the same as somebody elses last name in our country so I was somehow entitled to $3.8 million. Hmmm. Also uses williamsconsultants@aol.com. My Wife let me know he didn't sound Nigerian Prince enough to fool her.

Letter addressed to me from 6300 Steeles Avenue West - Woodbridge Ontario L4H 1J1 with official looking postage paid lettermail Canada Post 3056996.
Phishing expedition by a supposed Financial consultant wishing to provide a beneficiary with the Life Insurance unclaimed fixed deposits of US$2.8 million. Multiple typos and grammatical errors are a good hint that this is not an official letter from a reputable source. Wants you to confirm some of your personal information (which they don't have) occupation, phone/fax email address.

Same as listed, inheritance scam involving some long lost relative I never heard of. That itself is a red flag. It's a hokey old sitcom plot device. The only thing missing was having to spend just one night in a haunted mansion to collect. Rife with spelling and grammatical errors. Multiple cities and states associated with addresses and area codes.

Scam Email
Snail mail.

Same as the others. Someone died with same last name with no will, family or beneficiaries. Just happened to be super wealthy. Hard to believe people actually fall for this stupid crap.

Scam Email
No email. Came as a letter in the mail. So, guess it's mail fraud.
