contacted ON SKYPE BY SOMEONE WHO SAID HE WAS MAJOR STEPHEN TOWNSEND OF US ARMY, BASED IN AFGHANISTAN,WORKING FOR NATO. SAID HE WAS DIVORCED, DUE TO UNFAITHFUL WIFE, AND THAT HE HAD ADOPTED ORPHANED BOY AFTER A BOMB HAD KILLED HIS PARENTS. HE WAS USING THE GENERALS ARMY PHOTOS ON SKYPE,LOGGED ON AS STEP.TOWNSEND 112. I KNEW FROM START HE WASN\'T WHO HE SAID HE WAS SO I KEPT THE CHAT GOING FOR FEW DAYS. HE ASKED WHAT I DID TO SUSTAIN MY LIFESTYLE IN THIS ECONOMY, BIT STRANGE I THOUGHT,HIS ENGLISH WASN\'T VERY GOOD, ESPECIALLY FOR A USA GENERAL, AND WHEN I EVENTUALLY CONFRONTED HIM WITH WHAT I SUSPECTED, THAT HE WAS A FRAUD, HE SKYPE CALLED ME AND SUGGESTED THAT I WAS ON DRUGS OR SMOKING THEM AS HE WOULD NEVER PRETEND TO BE SOMEONE. HE HAS SINCE TRIED TO CALL ME AGAIN, WHICH I IGNORED, BUT HE HAS TAKEN GEN TOWNSENDS PICTURES OFF HIS PROFILE ON SKYPE, ALTHOUGH I BELIEVE HE ALSO HAS IT ON FACEBOOK. AS THE REAL GENERAL HAS HAD SUCH A DISTINGUISHED CAREER I REALLY DON\'T SEE HIM CONTACTING A COMPLETE STRANGER ON SKYPE LOOKING FOR A RELATIONSHIP, ESPECIALLY ONE WHO LIVES IN SCOTLAND. ME |

thought it was too good to be true so I googled jacob townsend and found the Army Generals picture and some TRADOC videos.
immediately reported it.

Asked to transfer funds to support retrieval of a package in Dubai. Done in conjunction with a Kevin Murray supposedly a diplomat at kevinmurray499@gmail.com plus several addresses in the Atlanta Georgia area. Addresses were Robert Drago at 1308 Hampton Dr. Sandy Springs, GA 30350 and Robert Drago at 2115 Addison Lane, Alpharetta, GA 30005. Additionally dubailogistics32@gmail.com including the name James Morgan at Dubai Logistics. Other addresses include Freda Smith at 8350 Roswell Rd, Sandy Springs, GA 30350. Additionally photographs of General Townsend’s children were shared to support the story of need.

contacted me on Tinder and asked to use Hangouts to communicate
He knows a lot about the Lt general
I googled US army Lt general Stephen Townsend and found out who the real man is. I ask the imposter different questions that I got from the articles on the Lieutenant. He answered most correctly but not all. He is running a scam and needs to stop discrediting the Lt. general.

I Received email townsend74@gmail.com He said he was Stephen j Townsend. Goes by George, has a son 17 living in Phoenix. Hi wife died of cancer 5 years ago. All information is wrong, Was told other son died in car crash. Claimed to be in Syria and will be retiring soon.
