I got a notice in my email saying that I\'ve been randomly selected as this month\'s lottery winner in a joint venture between Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows 8. It states that I\'ve won 500,000 USD and an Apple Laptop. It asks for my personal information, name, address, occupation, age, sex, and phone number. I almost got suckered into sending my personal info but first I Googled the address from where it came from and came up with: Gmail Team
This is the original: This email is to inform you that your Gmail address has just won you Five Hundred Thousand USD

and an Apple Laptop for this month of May 2014 Lottery promotion which is organized by GMAIL &

MICROSOFT WINDOWS collects all the Gmail addresses of the people that are active online, among

the people that subscribed to Gmail and Outlook, Gmail we only select five people every year as our

winners through electronic balloting system without the winner applying. We congratulate you for

being one of the people selected.
