Scammer emails you and sets you up a skill assessment test. when prompted to take the assestment it encourages you to buy $20 study guide. The Skills Assessment test was legit but once googled some of the questions i realized that all the answers could be found online, so i didnt purchase the guide, thank God, plus i found it wierd to do an assesment before an interview. After submitting the assesment and setting up a phone interview time i called multiple times for verification, no answer, no live person, no call back. I began believing this was a scam when I received no interview phonecall. I tried calling still no answer.

Same as the Boston Consulting Group Scam. The Huron Consulting Group is legit but the "Huron Consulting and Search" group is a scam. Scammer emails you and sets you up to take this skill assessment test. Manipulates you to buying a $20 study guide. Beware because it seemed pretty legit, aside from the shady salary range. Position required only a High School degree with 1-2 years experience and the pay was starting at $21 - $56.
The Skills Assessment test was surprisingly legit and it was hard to believe that all that the person would go through all this person to get you to buy a $20 study guide...unless there is some ulterior motive I cant see right now. I (finally) began believing this was a scam when I received no interview phonecall.
There is actually an "Aaron Ratz" that works for Huron Consulting Group, which seems legit. hcsginc.com and any related sites like bcsginc.com, acsginc.com.. everything is just copied and pasted from one another so click the "DELETE" and move on.
