| Anonymous Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 2014-05-18 23:24:05 Classified Ads Scam Other Classifieds Site | +1 Paypal bank 36 koolpinyah crescent tiwi ,northern territory ,0810,Australia Nicholas Glanville(?) contacted me in response to a car advert. Said he was working offshore NZ on a gas project and was only contactable via email. He said he wanted a car for family trip in NT for his next family holidays. He asked some questions about the car, why selling etc. Despite not being able to inspect or test drive, or have anyone do it on his behalf, he agreed to the full price. He said he could do payment through Paypal or directly into bank account, and he requested the bank account details. He also said that he\'d arrange for transport of the car to NT. It all smelt a bit funny so searched up the delivery address and saw the other scams from this person. |

He said he couldn't pay the transport company from his location as they were Hong Kong based and would only accept Western Union transfer and if he sent that money to me I even let him get to the point of transaction (giving false bank details)when I received two emails purporting to be from Paypal saying they were holding funds from transfer to my account, pretty good forgeries but the email sender properties show it comes from a gmail account : p.macleon111@gmail.com. Seems this guy in Hong Kong is really on the move. Reported to paypal.
