| +1 Paul White wants to donate $2 million to you/Rogers Raffle Draw I received an email from Morrison John, a friend of a friend on Facebook, claiming that he or someone wanted to donate 2 million dollars to me. I was given the above email address, which I ill-advisedly queried, and received an answer with links to videos concerning the actual Paul White's Powerball win--in August of 2013. The whole thing seemed all the more suspicious when my own investigating turned up the fact that, instead of the 149.something million, White had opted for the $86 million lump-sum option, which, after taxes, was further reduced to $60 million. Note also that Mr. White has a wife and 2 kids, as well as parents still living, and a sister, and friends...He just didn't seem to be someone in a position to be handing out such donations to total strangers. That's when I came to Google. This scammer claims that the Google Management Team selected my name through something called the Rogers Raffle Draw. I have noted that the same scam was also active in April of this year, and has been recorded as a scam elsewhere. |

I recieved a personal Text Message from another facebook user which is not really on my friends list. So I message the person about the message - "I'm Donating 2 million to you out of my 148 million USD won by power ball lottery. If your interested email me for details
email:paul.v.whit@outlook.com"
So I attempted to advise the person that his account may be compromised - "Hey there John, just to let you know I think that your account has been compromised... as I received the following private message from your account :
I'm Donating 2 million to you out of my 148 million USD won by power ball lottery. If your interested email me for details
email:paul.v.whit@outlook.com"
but I got a response back with this message - "no do what i said and you where pick for it okay"
So I wrote to the noted email ...being very cautious not to give any type of personal info and used a email that I do not use very much, and this was the response I got back :
Dear Friend,
Good day to you, for those of you who received the Facebook Notification Please you can read more about me and my Power Ball lottery Winnings via http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/08/08/us-usa-lottery-idUSBRE9760RM20130808 or you can watch my interview on YouTube via http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCdBx2NYMes
I am donating $2 Million dollars to you from my 149 Millions Dollars Lottery on August 8th, I am doing this not to gain fame as a matter of fact i have decided to put this away from the media and my sole purpose of doing this was a result of a long talk in England with my 14 Year Old daughter who said to me ''Dad how come we are celebrating your Birthday in England with so much money to be spent when there are family's out there who still find it out to survive,I knew exactly what she was talking about because i have thought of it too. I want you to be rest assured that you received this message because you are among the individuals to receive from my "DONATION PROJECT". I'm very sure that if you read or watch my interview via the link above you will see the history on how i became a winner and what you stand to get. After the heavy TAX imposed on me i had to move over here in the United Kingdom UK to settle with my family as advised by our family attorney, so we are currently here in the UK, so we are monitoring this donation to you be rest assured.
I have read all comments from a lot of people and i think donating this to you is not a mistake because contributing to you and putting smiles on your face is a good thing and i might not have been a good Christian because i never believed miracles were real until i won my Power-ball Lottery.
I may not know you, but i believe if you were chosen by God to receive my donation of $2 Million Dollars you must be a God fearing individual, I am a catholic and i have always believed that Good things happens to those people who wait and we have no idea on how our winners will be selected but the Rogers Raffle Draw and the
GOOGLE MANAGEMENT TEAM said our winners will be notified on email and they will be directed to contact me on email.
I'm Paul White by name, from Minnesota USA, and I'm an Engineer by profession.
