But that the rent payment would include her money for a plane ticket, so I would need to deposit it and send her the extra. (ONE - THIS CLEARLY MAKES NO SENSE! WHY WOULD THE PERSON NOT SEND SEPARATE CHECKS! TWO - THEY DO THIS BECAUSE YOU WILL GET MONEY AND BY THE TIME THE BANK FIGURES OUT THE CHECK IS NOT REAL, THE MONEY HAS ALREADY BEEN SENT TO THEM AND YOU ARE NOW PERSONALLY LIABLE TO YOUR BANK FOR THE HUNDREDS THAT YOU SENT). As normal, the person typed in broken English. They didn't respond appropriately to my emails. They resent an email word for word. It is getting close to the holidays, and with using credit cards online, and everyone looking for extra cash PLEASE BE CAREFUL! If it sounds weird, or too good to be true it is because it is!
