Lottery Scam
|  Facebook This woman or whoever used a close family friend that lives out of town to contact me on facebook, and told me they saw my name listed as a winner. He wanted to know if I had clamed my prize. I asked, "What are you referring to?" He/she or whoever stated, "contact this nice lady Shirley Brandser, and she will help you connect with claiming the prize, you deserve and will be very happy with." I contacted this lady by facebook, and checked her out on facebook. It stated she was a federal agent set up to contact these winners to assist with claiming prizes. She stated it was designd to help boost economy and people were chosen randomly by the government. I continued conversation with this close family friend, and he answered all questions logically. But, later found out, it was not this family friend at all. It was this scammer impersonating my friend. In the mean time, I lost $1540.00, supposedly for pretax payment. It was the last dime I had to my name. |
