Craigslist (craiglist.com) |  +1 Craigslist purchasing scam He's trying the typical scam of acting interested in purchasing a motorcycle. Then he sends a fake paypal payment notice and a fake paypal email that states that the funds will not be released until you wire the shipping money to his shipper. It's a pretty weak scam and I would hope no one would be gullible enough to fall for it. I told him my name was Burt Reynolds, and sure enough, the paypal payment notice addressed me as Burt Reynolds. Silly scammers. Don't they know Burt Reynolds is too old to drive a crotch rocket? |

was selling my motorcycle on craiglist - received a text asking me to email to mjgoody128@gmail.com - I emailed to the email and receive the email below.

Thank goodness I spoke to my son-n-law and he told me that it was a scam- I did not respond back to him about a paypal account. Just emailed to him that I would rather meet in person. I do hope this does not put any of my information in jeopardy.
