This is typical of purchasing-scams (which I assume would end up being the stolen credit card scam, or the overpaid wire transfer scam)--they don't even read the website to see what we have for sale because it's quicker to send the same email to hundreds of companies and waste time on a lot of research. I Googled the phone number and it does not come up as any existing company. In fact, the only listing brought up someone's report on a "who called me" type of website called "Mr. Number", and that person had received the same email I did. The email address, engineeringinstallation926@gmx.us, shows up on that same listing. It's important to note that the email exchange, gmx.us, is a purveyor of free email addresses akin to yahoo or gmail. Final note is that the salutation is unusual: "Hello, Good Morning sir/ma...". |
