She only communicated thru text and email due to some made up hearing injury. She said she sends money to orphanages and within 2 days, overnights me a FAKE certified check through FedEx for $2748.47 and asks me to deposit it into my account and keep my $480 and send the rest to the orphanage thru moneygram. Thank God I found this site and realized it was a scam!!! I Have not reply to her or answer her tex message
I need a job and I thought this was great for me I do not know what to do about this I'm a little scared

I applied for a position posted on craigslist for office assistant and received a email from this Elizabeth congratulating me on the new job. She said there would be a $480.00 dollar salary working 4 days a week, 4 hours each day. They also stated they had a hearing problem and therefor they could not communicate through phone calls. They said they would send a check for over $2,000 via fedex. They did send the check immediately and asked me to cash it or deposit it to my account. I knew it was a scan right away so i took it to my bank and they confirmed it. They kept texting asking why i was taking so long but i never replied. BE AWARE!!! If i was to have cashed that checked and then it would of bounced the money would have been taken out of my account. BE VERY CAREFUL AND LOOKOUT FOR THIS SCAM. I AM SURE THEY'LL TRY TO DO IT TO OTHER PEOPLE AS WELL.
