Saw a very good ad deal in EasyRoommate SG at 120 Pasir Panjang Road, Queenstown. The deal was too good to deny. Asked for the price of the room and she replied with a very lengthy email talking about the loss of her dad, hobbies, etc. She sent pictures of the room which were very nice for the price but turns out to be just taken from some other pictures of a house in LA, California. I found out about this too late and had actually sent my full name, address, and passport. She may use my info to scam you so beware. I said I wanted to view the room before paying but she just ignored it and tried to get me to pay first then mail the keys and contract by DHL since she is on a business trip. She gave a very detailed instruction on how to transfer the payment to Houston, Texas. With the broken English in her emails, too good to be true conditions, constantly asking for payment without viewing, and even the contract doesn't indicate the floor and room number, I searched about the name scam and found out about it here.

Room for rent at riverwalk apartment.
The template used was as tipped off by another reporter on scamdex.
Claims is alone, dad deceased, offering a room at "too good to be true/to refuse offer"
Reply response from her was templated and asking for details of full name per IC, current residing address, photocopy of IC etc. To prepare a contract. All these before the room was even being viewed or her contact number shared.
No contact number of hers was being provided to me and neither did she reply to my viewing request. Note: her ad has been removed. Did a search and found her being reported in scamdex with the same email template but different property Info.
