Received a txt +44 7624 803049... l will like to know if this Item is still for sale? if yes reply me on (alexjon02@gmail.com) I replied they was still for sale as you do... A reply came asking for the price... I replied with the price... They agreed and said they would send a shipping agent to come and pick the goods up once i had received funds. I just had to give them my Paypal email, number and address. Here's where the scam rolls in... They say they have transfered triple the amount of your asking price... Example: Goods Advertised for £90 They transfer £260 Transport Fees £150 Service Fee £20 The remaining will be yours. You then receive an 'email' off so called paypal saying "****** ****** has transfered the sum of £260gbp." This is a fraudulent email but is made to look so legit that somebody like me who was new to it all wouldn't know any better. However, the email you receive you think is Paypal. But it's the scammer who has cloned the logo and copied a legitimate off Paypal that you wouldn't think anything of it. I was then emailed to send the funds to a certain address before my (fake funds) would clear. Via Western Union. Luckily Western Union told me they had never seen anything of that email via paypal and i was told it was a scam. Anybody knows not to send funds upfront which is why I never did but these are strong scams. After 2 days the same person emailed me back asking why i hadn't done the transfer and it needed doing. I replied..." Go **** yourself u peice of ****" After 1 day i received yet another email stating to be paypal. It said my account would be suspended in 24 hours an the FBI involved for not transfering a sum of £150. Hahaha yeah right! Laughed it off Reported it again Emailed Nancy Wilson back saying " my paypal accounts still active, my funds are still with me in my bank and im sat here laughing you hard. " Havent heard a thing since. Dont get trapped! | |||||
