This company spams ads all over the internet under two different company names offering jobs and internships in China. They also have a "online chat line" and then also do cold calling via Skype and two call centers they operate in Pakistan and Beijing. The Pakistan telesales people use fictitious English names and say they are calling from different places. They sell you something you can get absolutely free for $3,699 - a China job internship. They require up-front money of $300 which they say is refundable - until you try to get it back.

These people will call you and tell you they received your resume for an overseas job in China (whether you sent them one or not) and then proceed with a very sophiticated scam that will sell you on the idad of earning big money in "booming China". They give themselves credibility by citing articles and reports from Forbes, Wall Street Journal, and a bunch of China blogs that they obviously paid someone to write because the blogs will either praise them or have a link to their website. Most of these blogs are written by "Stephanie".
EVentually they get you to come work in China for great-paying Job A and if you are dumb enough to pay their up-front processing and application fee ranges from $285 to $499 (For executive placements) you get stung sooner than later. If you refuse to pay the fee they will just screw you later after you get to China when you find out that great paying job was "already filled by the employer" and they pretend to be as upset as you are. They will then persuade you to either teach English or buy yourself a better paying job. They will also try to sell you a Z visa and phony university diplomas as well (if you don't already have one). They also sell fake TEFL certificates for $499 and even rent apartments as I found out from another victim who lost his $999 deposit when he went back to Belgium.
As you can see form this link http://www.realscam.com/f51/scam-alert-lawaoi-career-center-old-sophisticated-china-job-fraud-new-name-same-russian-owner-my-review-4753/ uni students in the UK know all about this scam for years, but because the Russian scam artist (Yuri) changed the company name 4-5 times in the last few years, people don't catch on to him until they get bruned in China where you can't sue the guy or even get him arrested because he is buddies with the cops in his district and just pays them off.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
