| Anonymous Henderson, NV, United States 2015-07-30 14:55:09 Nigerian/419 Scam Other Payment Site | Internet/email/mobile phone: 44 702 Romance. Said falls in love easily. Wanted to move to US on a working Visa and i as his U.S. sponsor. Asked for 500GBP for Visa application, week later 550GBP for business application for working Visa. Another week later about 760GBP to help pay for airplane ticket to send to his travel agent: Wale D. Isaac in Lagos, Nigeria. Then after U.S. EMASSY in LONDON interview asked for $3,700.00 USD for a BTA (Basic Travel Alliwance) as he said was required by the EMBASSY, so that he could be financially sound coming to the USA. again to be sent to travel agent in Nigeria, to be placed on a credit reserve?!?!? To be sent by Western Union due to dollar amount. This is when I got suspicious as I checked the U.S. EMBASSY WEBSITE that said no such thing as BTA .... it's a scam... Also the international code 44 followed by area code 70- is a mobile scamming number that is used to make you THINK call is going to tha UK, but gets re routed to anyplace in the world USUALLY NIGERIA!!! Also he said he lived at 75 Mapleton Crescent, Enfield, EN3. 5RD, England. Well early I sent a greeting card, and following week flowers to congratulate him on being granted his working Visa to the USA.... Since we email every day and talked every othe day, he never talked about or thanked me for the card or flowers I had sent to his address. RED FLAG. So with my gut suspicions I called company 1-800 FLOWERS why it wasn't sent... They said it was delivered Sat.,July 25, at 1:41 pm. And that "Daniel" did sign for them ????? I called Western Union and canceled the $3,800.00. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
