|  WARNING "SCAM ARTIST ALERT" IN THE WILLIAMSPORT / LYCOMING COUNTY AREA I am contacting all potential victims in the Williamsport / Lycoming County area to bring to your attention and warn you about a local "scam artist" that is going around attempting to con people and businesses into hiring him to do handy work, painting, construction, or odd jobs for cash. This persons name is Andrew D. (Dean) Norris DOB: 8-21-79 and I have enclosed his photo so you all know exactly whom this person is that may be attempting to con you and others so you do not fall victim to his scams. This individual is a professional "con artist" with a long history of scamming people in the area out of money and has committed several robberies as well. He claims to be a contractor and professional painter and often with each scam he pulls he lures each victim in by bragging about his painting skills, price, equipment, or how fast he can get the job done. That is not the case but rather part of his overall scheme to gain your trust and all part of the game that he runs on people which is why he has so many victims in town. Recently he was fired from the Pajama Factory where he was employed. If given the opportunity he will rob or scam you or your business out of as much money he can and would not hesitate to rob any loose cash, valuables, or the keys to your home, car, or business. He has done this before and has robbed from several individuals where he was previously employed. He is not licensed, bonded, or insured, and often uses one of several fictitious addresses where he either claims to reside or operate his painting business. Recently he was sued in Civil Court and lost where he was hired and paid to do a painting job and did not do any work at all. Do not be another one of this guys victims and avoid him at all costs. His criminal and civil record is public record and can be verified by going to the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas and examining the records yourself.
