DEAR WINNER, WE ARE PLEASED TO INFORM YOU OF YOUR WINNING SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS WITH MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO 3 LAPTOP BY GMAIL CORPORATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH MICROSOFT WINDOWS. WE COLLECT ALL THE GMAIL ADDRESSES OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTIVE ON LINE FROM THE GMAIL DIRECTORY; AMONG THE PEOPLE WHO SUBSCRIBE TO GMAIL AND VARIOUS MICROSOFT WINDOWS USERS. WE ONLY SELECT FIVE PEOPLE AS OUR WINNERS, WITHOUT THE WINNER APPLYING AND WE ARE ALSO CONGRATULATING YOU FOR BEING ONE OF THEM. HOWEVER YOU WILL HAVE TO FILL OUT AND SUBMIT TO THE EVENTS MANAGER. CONTACT EMAIL : GMLFF@OUTLOOK.COM NOTE WE DONT RESPOND TO FORWARDING EMAIL, YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT YOUR DETAILS TO THE EMAIL STATED ABOVE. Then it goes on to ask for your personal information; name, address, phone number, age, sex, occupation, city, state, and country. You can tell it is a scam if you look at the wording. There is no GMAIL CORPORATION, it is Google. Google owns gmail. They also refer to Microsoft Windows and not the Microsoft Corporation. Plus, it's just plain stupid. If it seems too good to be true, it is.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
